Create a Group
Learn how to create and configure a new group
We recommend creating groups in Noyo as soon as they are known to your ben-admin system. Then you can start sending member snapshots to Noyo to establish their data in our system; we use this data to calculate the group’s eligibility for different types of carrier connections and write account structure mapping rules.
Deprecated workflow
Customers who do not use Noyo’s dynamic configuration and mapping features will start their workflow with the group connection request, rather than with group creation.
To create a group in Noyo, use the Create Group endpoint. This endpoint allows you to create a new group in our system with a small amount of information.
Once the group is created, you can begin sending snapshots for the group’s members. Noyo will store this data but not send anything along to carriers just yet; instead, we’ll use the employee data to calculate the group’s eligibility for different types of carrier connections and eventually write mapping rules if needed.
The group lifecycle with Noyo
